The test was not easy, but I managed to score over 700, so I'm THRILLED. I wanted to share some tips because the info other passers have posted proved to be very helpful.

- Pregnancy and older population program design
- Fair amount of nutrition, especially hypothetical situations where you're in a position to respond to a nutrition inquiry.
- BMI
- Postural deviations (big one)
- Be familiar with major muscle groups and functions
- When is it necessary for physician referral, especially in regards to musculoskeletal injuries
- Muscle spindles/GTO
- learning styles

Mostly, do the work, read it carefully, make flashcards (I didn't do this until a couple days before the test and it was STILL a tremendous help). And call/email the ACE help center! I bothered them constantly with even the smallest details and it helped it stick. The test is NOT easy. I was doubting myself the whole time. But I relaxed, took my time (over 2 hours), and tried to focus on what I had learned. Also, some people have said Exercise ETC was helpful; I only purchased 2 videos and.... I didn't find it great. The host is great and easy to follow, but I thought they totally focused on the wrong things. For example, I was having a lot of trouble with fitness testing, and I felt like she talked forever about things that weren't really important at all. And in another video she went on and on about blood pressure test and skin fold test administration... great for when I'm a trainer, less so when I'm preparing for the test. If you're really nervous, I would suggest trying one out (it's $20 per video) and seeing if it helps you. I think I zone out when I watch videos, haha.

Hope this helps. Remember to relax the night before, but definitely review key things before you go in.

I studied for four months and today when I took the test I was sure I wuould fail so know thats normal.dont let pthers freak u out its not that bad. mostly scope of practice,motivation,a few on what muscles are weak or tight during a senario with squats,2 basic math like the percentage of carbs on a food lable, I walked I, thinking it was the hardest test ever from all the stories of people failing and sayimg the test does not pertain to the learnimg mTerial however they are worded fine. they are not questions you memorize and regurgitTe tje answer. simple commom sence questions which will be easy if u atudy and understand hows and whys of sitiations. study help with quizlet.com helped.allot and there are flash card apps u can use to makr cards on ylur pc and up link the, to your phone. I just ent hours making logical qna flash cards Nd lived on them. tje book eventually becpmes an extra resource. he thia helps cause I was lost when I started and could have used some honest help. its a doable test if u put in tje work good luck everyone and write back with qiestions

How much of the test will have questions concerning the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, skeletal, and digestive system? I am feeling a little overwhelmed and would appreciate any input that would send me in the right direction..
