I finally passed the ACE exam! It wasn't too bad - just long! What REALLY helped me was taking the two day exam prep. course! I am the type who likes to ask questions and interact with people, so that format worked well for me. It clarified so many things! The Exam Review book you get with that class is worth the price itself! USing the Exercise Etc. Disk questions helped as well. let me knwo if anyone needs any help out there! Best to All!!!

I made a specific blog regarding how I studied and successfully passed the ACE CPT exam. I really think that you would benefit by following my exam study strategy. Here's the link:

Hi Lori -- On your ACE exam results it should have a breakdown of how well you did in each category (in percentages). That should help you identify areas you need to review. Also, if you haven't already, it may help you to use the ACE Online Diagnostic Practice Test. That helped me a lot. It will identify weak areas and refer you to pages in the ACE manual to study.

I feel that exercise etc really makes you believe that all you have to study is their material and I felt that a lot of the didn't even pertain to it. I am going to take a few of their courses again because they offer it for free if you don't pass and email the teacher for her help. I did purchase the practice test with 1300 mult. questions. I really felt that a lot of the material wasn't even mentioned in exercise etc... Thanks for your support. I was down but I feel that it will only make me a better trainer for my future.
Thanks, Lori

Thanks, I did break it down. I really focused on the 8 week course from exercise etc and I felt that there wasn't much information from that course on the test. I am going to take in the next month or so.

I failed the test today and I was really dissapointed. I really felt that I was prepared. I took the eight week exercise etc. prep course but, I felt a lot of the questions didn't pretain to the course. What do you recommend to help prepare? I am really frustrated.
Thanks, LoriPosts:
